Set Design A Set Design is very important, Mainly because it helps convey the setting and is a set that helps show the audience where and when a story of a play takes place. For Example a Set design will show the audience a specific things and it could be a room or a house this also creates an atmosphere. A different example is a play set is in a barn in 1950s A set Design can show stuff to the audience including themes and symbols, an example could be a dark gloomy place with a cemetery this could suggest the theme of death. A set Designer will make sure a play that is naturalistic, they would create the impression of reality through props that are realistic as possible. If is a minimalistic style a set designer would just use simple props to represent a setting.
