Friday 7 may 2021 (ROBS LESSION)

 Today was my Rehearsal lesson with Rob, We learnt something important. I learnt a Technique called Blocker a Blocker is a movement and laying out the scenes and not to be in front of the actors, There are some scenes that we blocked but a acting blocker is basically one or more actors that move around the space during a play, But is also how they interact with the actors and interacting with the environment.

For example having self respect is good and respecting the actors space is important too, So when I was in front of a actor that was going to speak I moved my position for the audience or the camera to see her/him clearly and I move somewhere where I have a good amount of space. By doing this it gives it a proper dramatic effect. 

In one of the scenes the antagonists which was me and the other actors was told by Rob, To go with the flow, This means is to not just to stick to the script but to make the play better act like you're actually there. This is a Thought process, A Thought process is a process of using your mind to consider something carefully 

For example we value what happens around us according to the way we see the world by doing this we could go of script but to make it better. When an actor says or does something it will cause an emotional reaction that will encourage me or the other actors to do some kind of action or to have a facial expression. Is called a thought process in order to act it out mentally and physically.

Thought process could also be reasoning, Remembering, Imagining and making judgments. While we was acting out some scenes we was told to be right in the moment and so speak the lines on QUE as this is important.

In todays rehearsal I had to watch and observe so I can add on my own techniques in the final play but in order for it to work is the reason we had this rehearsal. I had to know exactly who and what my character is so I had to try different skills with the help of my teacher.

Standing in front of an actor while speaking or with gesture is not a good thing because not only I'm I blocking the actor but I'm also messing around with his/her acting by sabotaging
